I currently have $190,000 US dollars. If I exchanged to pounds I would be looking at $105,000 (rate £1 = $1.8). If the exchange rate goes to say £1 = $1.9 and I exchange the £105,000 to US dollars then I would get $199,500 making a profit of nearly $10,000. Is this right or am I doing something wrong here? |
