Greek, Rome, France, Spain, and England perhaps owing to a dearth of creative spirit found coveting another people's gifts to compensate for their lack of impetus. What sits in some of these great museums raises the question of who really owns history. China and Japan are notoriously protective about keeping their national treasures from falling into the warehouses of Europe and America. I say, give the Greek back their Elgin marbles. |

Tell me, how on earth is one to actually express a valid opinion when the individual who likely stumbled upon this topic knows very little about it AND is clearly being directed to agree with the return of the stones. After all, how could the British be so cruel? Any results from this poll should be disregarded. Perhaps a less bias version of the question could be formulated but, perhaps, this was the intention all along. |

Besides most art pieces in museums around the world are booty and loot from another culture and do not rightly belong there. Returning these would set a precident for all expropirated items and our world's museums would be non-existent. |
