I am extremely pleased with the current league position and the progress the club has made but I feel that the board are not totally comitted to the cause. The league is wide open this season and we have a great opportunity to gain promotion, I wish the board would take a chance and really go for it this season rather than being so cautious. It is good to see Dichio arrive but I feel we should have paid the fee for him as soon as he was fit instead of a couple of weeks later-he proved his worth in the loan spell. Megson has always bought wisely and he should be given the backing to get the players he wants. With Appleton out for the season the board really are going to have to spend!! P.S. Gary Megson is a genius! |
