So to say there's no program wich supports protocol X is a bit strange. And Gaim has a LOT of nifty plugins and patches with wich you can expand the program. I'd say, go for OS X. They need it. We've got Gaim (And everybuddy, but last time I checked, it wasn't done yet) |

It probably will work under OSX, if not now it likely will soon. So I would advise a Java port. Then it can run on the smaller devices and on any OS you feel like marketing it to. |
