side by side shotgun

Which brand seems to be the most common with sas shooters? I am just starting and wondered what works.

RE: side by side shotgun

I bought one of the Chineese ones from Center Fire Arms and have never had any kind of trouble in many years. Slugs at 50 feet are about 1/4" apart and that's pretty good for any double regardless of price. Don't remember the price, but it was less than $200.00.

Good luck, Jott

I use an Euro Arms (?) 12 ga side by side. this one has the exposed hammers that must be cocked but do nt actually strike the expsed firng pins. Works well for me.

RE: side by side shotgun

Seen an awful lot of Stoeger's out there, as well as not to few antiques from the late 1800's, still in good shooting condition.

Just bought a Baikal import, "The Bounty Hunter" coach gun in 12GA... Sweet pointing street howitzer it is too... for $270 USD.

Could have had a Davidson bird gun SxS in 12GA. for $225 USD and it was in great condition for a shotgun that was only in production for a couple years in the early 1980's. Prefer a 20GA. for my birding and clays. Goes much easier on this ol' boys shoulder.

So now I look for a Rossi lever in .45 Long Colt, and get the 20GA. birdgun after that... I hope... Wife willing.... :)

Stoeger Coach gun is the way to go! $320 plus a cowboy action job $125 from Walker 47.
