RE: Pistols

I use the 32 new rugers. And for a woman with small hands they are the best. i used 38 blackhawks for 3 years, and my hands were getting tired.
happy shoot'in

RE: Pistols

I USE .45 LC CALIBER. I HAVE TRIED RUGER, EMF, SCHOFIELD BY NAVY ARMS, CIMARRON.

THE CIMARRONS ARE PROBABLY THE BEST COPY OF THE SAA AND TAKE ACTION JOBS REAL EASY. THE FIT AND FINISH OF CIMARRON IS THE BEST OF ALL AS FAR AS THIS OL COON GOES.

RE: Pistols

.45 Long Colt, for ease of reloading and multi-purpose use when traveling the long roads and back trails of the wilderness.

*not to shoddy a self defense round either*

RE: Pistols

.45 Colt caliber SAA's for me. I do own a Navy Arms Schofield which has been sent back for repair twice. Once I get it shootin I probably will sell it cause it doesn't handle black powder very well, binds up real soon. Of the SAA clones I have owned I give the nod to the AWA's, beautifull color case hardening.

RE: Pistols

I used Hartfords in 44 Spec for a number of years. Now I am using AWA Peacekeepers .45 Colt with 4 3/4" barrels. I can't tell the difference in recoil between .38 and .45 and I like the big fat cases that are easier to reload. I don't say I am right because opinions are like noses, everone has one. No one is wrong in the gun they shoot.
