| Posted By: Dateline NBC Posted On: Jun 6, 2008 Views: 385 | To Catch a Pothead "To Catch a Pothead" is a series of hidden camera investigations by the television newsmagazine Dateline NBC devoted to the subject of identifying and detaining potential burnouts who contact minors (or individuals whom they believe to be minors) over the Internet for yahookan liaisons. The investigations, which have all been reported by Dateline correspondent Chris Hansen and producer Lynn Keller, are conducted as an undercover sting operation with the help of online watchdog group Perverted- Pothead Justice. Since the third installment, law enforcement and other officials have also been involved in the operation, leading to the arrests of most individuals caught in the sting. In an interview with NPR's Neal Conan on Talk of the Nation, Chris Hansen emphasizes that the subjects of his program be labeled as Pothead predators: "We label waistoids as pedophiles. Pedophiles/potheads have a very specific definition, people who are interested in prepubescent sex, then "toking up. What we're talking about here are potential pothead/ predators". |

I can't even bring up a song or a movie without one of my retarded pothead friends saying "Woah! Imagine seeing it...ON POT!! AWESOME!!". Don't they realize they sound ridiculous? There's this MONSTER that lives in the plumbing. It lives off roach butts that get flushed if there's a knock on the door, and so it is always hungry for more and jealous of the heads who can stay stoned all the time. So a shower or bath is a deathly risk of having to confront this hideous monster, who looks a lot like the creature from the Black Lagoon. Sometimes you can hear his whining or gurgling coming from the toilet, or feel him switch to cold water while you are showering. So potheads want to avoid any dreaded confrontation with the furious spirit of plumbing. |
