As an activist, he devoted his life to doing everything in his power to bring the ideals of peace and love on earth to people. I am 21. I was born months after John's murder, but I have great love and appreciation for John Lennon and his contributions to music and the world. Though he was robbed from his wife, children, friends, and fans by his killer (who in my opinion should not have lived another day past his conviction), John has left us with a formidable legacy of melody, lyric, and hope for a brighter future. Let's push for peace and not let John down . . . as we are one people, sharing the same world. God bless John Lennon . . . damn M.D.C . . . |
