Hi, Dear fellow Afghans, Would you take your educational texts books to Afghanistan and donate them to the high schools in Afghanistan? Would you consider donating a computer to schools in Afghanistan? Would you cooperate with our Afghan government to eliminate poverty, inequality, illitracy, bloodshed, injustice and cheating? Just in our house alone we have 3 working computers just sitting in our garage. I would love to find a way to trying to get some kind of an non-profit organization started to gather and transfer these educational tools to Afghanistan. If anyone has any suggestions please contact me. |
| Posted By: samim Posted On: Jan 26, 2002 Views: 442 | RE: Would Afghan Schools have computers in 5 years? yes the afghan kids must get real hands on computer as an educational and informational modern tool as well as on internet, in short the information technology must be planed as one of the top priorities in the educational area as well as in the business and adminstration there, this technology can find its way just to start with..........! there are donners who may help, but it might be a question of transportation from NA to afghanistan ...........! but this way or another it will find its way... hope soon and fast there be a good solid computer science faculty as well as 100s of computer school to gradutes in ten thousands.............! |

One of my relatives is with Arian Airlines and told me that cargo planes which ship clothing and other supplies would do that as well. the problem i have is that i don't want people to make a profit from this and the computers end up in the hands of elites. |
