It was much classier, and could be recognized as a route marker even from behind! Forget the red white & blue; it's far too busy. I did like the Florida system, however. We 1st started driving to Fl. in the 70's and as a kid the colored signs was one of the things that gave Fl a different feel, like we really had arrived. I like the State and "US" marker being on the shield, and I like the cutout as well. The current one is just too blase'. Great website! |
