After being approved by Quality Control, Helix and hundreds of his identicial brothers/sisters were shipped overseas to the United States. When he first arrived in America, Helix was very lonely. Sure, he had the company of his family but they were all stuffed together in a giant box in the backroom of a retail store in Baltimore, Maryland. Finally, Halloween came and Helix was freed and put on display. A very nice girl purchased Helix (and a couple dozen family members) for 99 cents each. The monster hand puppets were shipped from Baltimore to St. Paul, Minnesota to be used as NOVELTY items for a local insurance company. Helix would not accept this fate and on October 12, 2001, Helix escaped!!! |
