Then it progressed to a pair of scissors, then steak knives now I ues pencil sharpener blades.My mother killed her self when I was 6 yrs,although she was an alcoholic all the time I knew her.I've blocked all my childhood out I only remember select details, and only found out what happened to her cause my dad had to tell me.I still can't say what I do,if people ask what are those marks on your arm? I just say oh nothing.I'm a compulsive harmer, thats all i think about.I can make myself feel the blood leaving my arm,all the pressure escaping.I try to explain to people that everyone harms themselves through alcohol and cigarettes, but they are always like but Its not the same.I dont see why not, just cause my damage is external instead of internal.I would like to meet other harmers,I perhaps wouldn't feel so alone and empty.If people want someone to talk to e-mail me,I check my mail every other day so will help anyway I can. Thankyou for reading a small part of my 2 year life with harming. |

| Posted By: michelle Posted On: Apr 6, 2004 Views: 496 | RE: Mother. kelly, im not a cutter yet but almost everyday i get ao depressed and want to.try talking to your family because you know how it felt when you lost your mom so how much pain will you put on your family if one day you cut yourself and have to be rushed to the hostpital.i know how hard it is to resist it sometimes but just keep in mind what youll be puting your family through.
