IS IT A DURING THE DAY THING OR AT NIGHT? DOES IT HAPPEN EVERYDAY OF THE WEEK OR JUST AT SPECIAL TIMES AND WHO DO WE CONTACT TO FIND OUT ABOUT IT? ANY HELP WILL BE APPRECIATED. |
| Posted By: Teresa Posted On: Feb 10, 2003 Views: 1843 | RE: "CARNIVAL PARADE" Carnival starts Friday Febuary 28th and runs through Tuesday March 4th.Then it's a holy day called ash wed.That signals the end of carnival.They have a parade every evening.They party all day and drive around with pick up trucks full of people and big speakers blasting music.They decorate the downtown and have bands in the town square.Lots of food stands.They usually have a band from Brazil that is good.We had a lot of fun.Fat Tuesday's is a hot spot on the main square.You can watch all the action from their.Just remember the island is small and with all the cruise ships that come into port and extra people from the main land it get's quit busy and sevice is slower than normal!If you don't mind crowds and like to party you will have fun! |
