Your descriptions of the teenage John were in-depth, to the point of idolising his lack of hair and general pre-pubescence. Growing up as a homosexual (or worse, bisexual) makes it hard to cope with the love for a man, almost to the point where you become fixed with the ideal of the first male you fell in love with. This is only dangerous if you are still attracted to the same ideal. |
