Maybe I would repair myself, send it back or have someone else repair. When I buy On E-bay I never ask if it has been dipped. I guess however if I paid high bucks for it I would be more concerned about wether it was dipped or not.Having never paid more than 100.00 for a pen it is not as big a deal as it would be if I had just bought a Pelikan 1000. So I guess even though I said it was not important, it could be under certain considerations Ron Meloche |

Whether the pen has found ink is less important to me if the pen falls in the modern pen catagory that is post WWII. If I find any mint pre WWII mint pens uninked I would and have left them uninked. That is to say preserve the oldies for posterity, there are many users to write with. |
