| Posted By: Cybercompost Posted On: Feb 19, 2002 Views: 734 | My take on this. I voted for Zidane. Why? Butz really has no background information. He is afraid of heights, and his parents died. Whoopdie freakin doo. And his love of Lenna is not played out. Butz just isn't a character. Squall is just a very rude, brooding sort of fellow. Cloud is just plain nuts. In my humble opinion, he is stupid as well. He has two attractive woman fawning over him, and he doesn't even seem to notice. I haven't played enough of X to find out whether or not Tidus is a good character. To me, he seems very annoying and stupid to boot. Cecil is a cool character. The blend of darkness of light makes him very human. There was not that much character development when it comes to Terra, actually. Although a lot of the story deals with her, there is no real depth to her story. In fact, character development was one of FFVI's weak points in my opinion. Now Zidane is the greatest _starting_ character. To tell you the truth, I think that the supporting characters make FF games, but that is just me (especially Cid VII, Cyan, Steiner, and Kain- ESPECIALLY especially Kain). He is extremely human, although he has a monkey tail. He has his vices, such as an extreme love for women, but he has his virtues as well- as he is a do-gooder all the way. |

Butz: See umm... whoever the first guy was. you know, the one who started this subject. I can't remember. Terra: She scares me. One minute, she is calm and nice, and the next, she's all crazy and radioactive. Cloud: He was Squall's prototype at the beginning, and then he just became a fruit. Squall: I hate him. I want his apathetic waste of pixels to die. That, and he talks to himself excessively. I don't have that much internal dialogue. Tidus: umm... I know little about him, but as far as I can tell, he is a water polo player? I really don't know much about him... |
