RE: 2 hour BBC EMI PSB interview

I agree with you. This was my highlight and should be in the list. Although the new music and performances have all been strong, this interview stands out for me as a real treat for long time fans. Of course,: it is always intriguing to hear them discuss the many odd and unexpected stories behind their songs, and this interview was sprinkled with a generous amount of new little narratives and stories from behind the scenes. Stealing the show though, is the irresistible tension between the duo as they correct and quibble with each other, iis a joy to listen to. The moment when Chris misquotes Neil’s statement about ‘Very” as “it’s not as bad as you think” is quite magical.

I've just checked the BBC site and sadly it says currently unavailable... any ideas how to listen to it?

RE: 2 hour BBC EMI PSB interview

I listened to this interview also, over two evenings on my exercise bike! It was fascinating and would recommend listening. I listened on BBC Sounds App but have just checked and its not there anymore. Hopefully it will resurface.
I voted for the Hyde Park Concert. I’m not a fan of watching PSB, or indeed any band, on DVD/TV etc. I get bored. However I came in from the pub and this happened to be on. The rendition (not often played live) of WTHIDTDS sold it to me. It was magical. Last live performance of that track I can remember was Glasgow 1999 Nightlife Tour when they had a video of Dusty
On another note, I hope your move has gone well Wayne and it’s good to hear your “voice” again. I, and I’m sure many other regulars on here, continue to value the work you do. Looking forward to some upcoming Hotspot discussion in the coming weeks.
