The first one obvisously had to be incredable to pull SqareSoft up to where they are now, before that they where on the verge of bankrupsy. |

Star Ocean was infiniitely more original and captivating than the FF series when it came out, but there has been no real attempt to continue the series, while FF moves on to a higher plane of existence. If SO had as many sequels as FF, it would be better. My analysis: SO is better, but all the FF sequels from PS & PS2 trump it. While it was only SNES, SO was better. |
