In my opinion the best "singer" was A.Kraus.
I don´t understand singers like P.Domingo are.

I am sure Alfredo Kraus could have been on the list, one of the most stylisic and sublime tenors of the century, always professional and truthful to his art. His technique was superb resulting in one of the longest careers seen; even at old age he could pull off complicated roles successfully. Unfortunately, I he was shadowed by his fellow countrymen Carreras and Domingo, and shared repertory with Pavarotti - well commercialism prevailed...
