Only a fool would believe...

..that we didn't go to the Moon.
Anyone who thinks we didn't must be a fool.

“We did 2 go to the Moon”
I wouldn’t waste your time with Bart.
Bart is doing his usual smokescreen trick because he has been proven to be an idiot and is unable to do anything about it, so he hides behind other idiotic questions.
1) He has been proven to be lying over his Kodak ‘quote’.
2) He is of course unable to tell us where O’Keefe’s quote is because it doesn’t exist. Another Bart lie.
3) He is unable to submit his photo ‘proving’ that the stars can be photographed from the Moon. I wonder why that could be? Not another Bart lie surely?
4) He is unable to explain why spacesuits work just fine in Earth orbit but couldn’t possibly work on the Moon.
5) He claims that spacesuits could not protect astronauts on the Moon from radiation, because it is the same radiation as from a hospital x-ray machine! (That one is probably his most stupid remark so far, but watch this space, I’m sure the cretin can top even that!)
6) He believes that all the photos taken by the astronauts were too good to have been taken on the Moon, having seen maybe 100 or so from the 30,000 taken! Bart does not know about photographic darkrooms either, and how to crop a photo. What a jerk!
7) He thinks that the lighting on the Moon photos “defies the law of physics”. ?????????
8) He believes that the astronauts changed camera filters, lens focus and lenses while wearing spacesuits, then goes on to say it must be a hoax then because they can't do that! Ehhhhhh! Run that by me again..... he believes...oh, never mind.

Bart is of course unable to respond to any of those points. Every time he makes a remark he digs himself in even deeper.
It's actually very sad to realise that there are people about in America, such a wealthy country, that have had such a woefully poor education that they cannot understand some even very basic everyday things.
It really is sad, I do feel sorry for Bart and others like him. What chance have they got in life after having been given such a bad start?

What really interests me, having just finished a course in psychology, is the motive behind Bart's actions. Why does he deliberately lie in order to 'strengthen' his claim? Why is he so desperate to belief it was a hoax, even to the extent of fabricating his 'evidence'? Does he realise he is telling lies or does he subconsciously convince himself he is telling the truth? Is he able to understand when his argument has been destroyed, but again subconsciously, manage to convince himself he is still right? It would make a very interesting case study, especially for an undergraduate. It’s a shame that we will never know.

RE: Only a fool would believe...

lol!
so true...about bart...
yeah, that quote definitely does not exist. According to aulis.com, Sean O 'Keefe listed two problems for deep space travel: propulsion and radiation. Then they focused on the fact that radiation is #2 on his "wish list" and so that meant the bigger problem was propulsion, so we couldn't have landed on the moon. What O'Keefe really said was that for DEEP SPACE travel, it'd be wicked hard to find something fast and able, and escape deep space radiation at the same time. I don't believe a few hundred miles up is deep space?

RE: Only a fool would believe...

Yes, of course you are right, that O'Keefe quote doesn't exist. We all know that.
But as I said, the interesting thing is, why does the prat do it?
He must know its very easy to check these things?
There are only 4 conclusions we can draw from this:-

1) Bart is seriously psychologically damaged. For some reason he HAS to belief it was a hoax. Knowing what has happened to him to cause this would be interesting, probably some traumatic experience in his childhood while he was watching “Star Trek”.
2) He HAS to lie, because he is unable to admit ever to being wrong. This may have some bearing on his upbringing as a child and his relationship with his parents, or with the local police.
3) He is not psychologically damaged, but is instead really as stupid as he appears to be. I find this one particularly hard to accept. I have trouble accepting that he is really this stupid, is it possible? The reason I have a problem with this is that he is a least able to string together enough words to make a coherent sentence, yet this is in direct contrast to the stupidly shown in the content of said sentence. It doesn't add up.
4) The only explanation that seems to make any sense is that Bart is psychologically damaged, dysfunctional, AND incredibly stupid.

Perhaps someone else can come up with a better explanation?

no better explanation...

SAT II: Physics

25) Bart Hess is

[a] mentally retarded
[b]has psychological problems
[c]a pompous jackass whose religon includes lying
[d]a traumatized poor kid
[e]all of the above, and then some

I'm going to have to go with [e]. how bout you bart? which one?
