Posted On: Feb 24, 2003 Views: 947 | "friendly" discussion forum There's been a variety of calling people brats and morons and retards and idiots throughout the comments for the poll, hasn't there? This has been very impeding in communication. There's no way to communicate effectively if everyone is a moron and everyone else says "lmao!" Are we getting anything done here? Absolutely not! So here are some rules for this "friendly" debate. Both sides have to clearly say their point; if they don't the other can ask for clarification. Each reply requires a link to a valid (3rd-party, not NASA or conspiracy pages)source and has valid basis on physics and science, or a bibliography to a book with valid basis on physics and science. State one point at a time, please, it can get confusing with fifty questions flying every which one. Read the opponent's responses carefully and deduce your own responses to that. Do this without screaming, "moron," however you feel like saying it. Sound fair? Neither side has an advantage and maybe finally we can convince some people in these series of poll comments, either way. I notice not many ppl have been convinced or not convinced by this site, they come in with their minds made up. As webmaster, I think it's only fair for Keith to make the first point for "We did actually land on the moon." As the one who posts the most here, I think it's only fair that Bart Hess makes the first point for "It was all a hoax!" Since the "hoax" ppl apparently have a lot more evidence, they get to go first. Bart? |
