The speed needed to achieve low Earth orbit is 17,400mph. I do not understand why you say these speeds have not been reached. Do you not believe that probes have flown by or landed on every planet in our solar system, flown by Haley's comet, landed on an asteroid and that we have the International Space Station and the Hubble Space Telescope and hundreds of satellites in orbit? Not to mention probes that landed on the Moon of course before men walked on it. Don't you believe that the Mars Rover trundled about the surface of Mars? Do you not believe that we have GPS satellites and satellites for TV broadcasts? Never heard of satellites TV? Good grief! Perhaps you don't, after all you do say on your web site that light has mass, so what other wonders may you believe in or not makes the mind boggle. |
