Okay pple, listen to this,this makes perfect sense.Ive ben resarching about this topic for some time.Ifeel that i am highly educated about this topic.But anny way , heres my point.The craft that our astronauts were flying had SO MUCH THRUST.Im talkin thousands and thousands pounds of thrust.With me?ok.When our astronauts "landed" there was no "moon dust" or dirt/sand that had ben blown away by the powerfull thrust.WHY!!!??? Because when neil armstrong stepped on the moon for the 1st time he left perfect deep footprints.In reality, if you had a blower that has the equivallent amount of thrust as our space craft did, it would have blown the "moon dust" completely away.This would have formed a crater in the moon just landing on it!Think about it. |

Andrew is comparing the amount of thrust needed to launch a Saturn V rocket weighing 6.4 million pounds from Earth to an escape velocity of 25,000 mph, to landing a tiny Lunar lander on the Moon! |
