Trailblazer

Further to my earlier question about the Trailblazer mission, I have tried to find recent information. I have gone to the Trans-Orbital web site, and sent frequent e-mails to their information address, with no reply.

This mission appears to have all the ingredients of, the moon landings, the Marie Celeste and the Bermuda Triangle mixed into one mystery!!!!!!!!

RE: Trailblazer

I now have had a reply from TransOrbital, this is a copy of it:-

"Yes the flight is still a go but because of reengineering and new technology add-ons it will be late 2006 before the launch will occur. We will be updating the web site in the next ten days and will try to get current events posted in the future so you can have a good handle on where the project is. Thank you for keeping in touch.

Dennis Laurie

President

TransOrbital, Inc."

I was wrong to believe there was nobody out there!!!!!!!

RE: Trailblazer

Bah Humbug ... they're just having trouble getting the money to finance a convincing film set, having spent too much money on other 'faked' and pointless missions like crashing probes into comets. :\

lmao.

RE: Trailblazer

I received exactly the same message from Dennis Laurie as yourself - sounds like a standard cut and paste job. The news below isn't.

Direct from the Courthouse News Service 21.08.05

International Space Co. Kosmotras has sued Transorbital Inc. for $5 million in Federal Court in Virginia, claiming it launched a dummy spacecraft for the defendant and never was paid for it. The Russian company launched a TrailBlazer for Transorbital from the Baikonur Cosmodrome on July 25, 2002, it claims, but TransOrbital has paid only $10,000 of its $1,092,000 bill. Kosmotras is represented by Boring & Pilger of Vienna, Va.
