Posted By: tony clifton Posted On: Jul 26, 2005 Views: 1164 | how far i was in bed last night pondering the meaning to life when i began to wonder is it possible to send an object(lets say a potato or a racoon) from the moon to the earth (forgetting that it would burn up in the atmosphere) without using rockets or a type of cannon? |

Wondering myself how you came up with this when pondering the meaning of life. Surely you would need some type of force for the object to travel to Earth. Maybe 'Babe Ruth' could throw the object, i don't really know. I would of assumed you would of needed a fair bit of force. |

I think it is possible with a decent push, because (if we ignore all the things might happen to it while traveling in space of course) there is nothing that should make the object lose it's movement, and it will keep floating in the same fastness untill it gets to earth. by the way I'd like to know what's other people opinion about my post (one before this called "well, you forgot something") I think it's a really strong hoax belivers prove without a good explanation for now... |
