Area of Special Sovereignty?

What if someone were able to soft-land computer equipment on the moon that could communicate info to Earth via satellite? They could host all the illegal web sites they wanted and no one could do a thing about it. Is there $$$ in this? If it were technically feasible, and financially viable, would it be legal?

RE: Area of Special Sovereignty?

It doesn't matter if the connection to the www is made from London, New York or the moon, the connection can be blocked.

But can it legally be blocked? I have my own server on the moon--not any goverments', but mine. Who would have the right to block my transmission to the WWW? The US cannot block sites from other countries on the WWW, how could they block something broadcasting from the moon?
