The moon landing was 100% real and its so stupid you people deny it. That's as bad as people thinking we fabricated 9/11 and the aids virus to kill black people. Its sad we live in a country as great as ours but yet people still choose to ignore the truth when realisticly if they where in any other country they may no be able to voice this opinion. You ****ing People need to do your homework. |

The problem is that there has always been, and always will be, a small percentage of the population that hold strange beliefs, for whatever reason. It is not possible for us to understand why they do, you would have to be as weird as them for that. In the past this was not a problem, we can live with a few nutters. However, since the age of the Internet, these nutters can express their weird views and talk to others about it, and say for instance that they can show how the moon landings were faked. For those of very limited intelligence, or are ignorant about physics and space flight, these views make sense to them so they come to believe it, and so it gathers pace and spreads. It does not matter to them that you can prove them wrong and show the errors they are making, we are dealing with odd people here so logic does not help, and they simply accuse you of being part of the conspiracy. In all, everyone who disagrees with them is either part of the conspiracy, as many believe I am, or have been taken in and are too dumb to realise it, unlike them. We just have to accept that there are nutcases amongst us and get on with our lives. Its their problem they are weird, not ours. They really are a sad bunch of misfits. Even sadder is that they really don't know that they are, instead they think they are the smart ones (God help us!). The word pathetic pops into my mind when I think how to describe them. |

It devastated me because it was improtant for me whilst I was growing up. I was very proud of mans achievements. So I wanted to know more. I am so glad that I did because I realise how foolish I was to even consider the possiblity. I too thought about Apollo 13 and thought why would they do that? In a way it was a failure and they owned it. Anyway thank you for the information above. I think it is now nonsense to think it was a hoax. Also apart from everything else you are right to say the russians would have loved to have proved otherwise and they agree it took place. Thanks again. |
