Maybe in another 40 years we will have the technology to get a man to the moon again. Pretty amazing that they could get there in three days with the equivalent of a speak-and-spell equiped trailer clamped to a huge lawn mower engine. |

The main improvement of course will be in computers. If today NASA wanted to send men to the Moon using the same equipment and methods as they did in 1969, I am sure they wouldn't be allowed to, it would considered too dangerous. That's progress for you! |
