It would help if it didn't lag on multiplayer so badly. I'm hoping NWN will not be so laggy. The graphics in Dungeon Siege are nice. When the new mods come out will improve the re-playability of DS. The game design and the code for the engine is rock solid. The mod development tools still need work but there are quite a few 3rd party tools already out for it. I think that scripting is about the same for DS as NWN but NWN has more built-in functions from the looks of it. I'm still waiting on my new system before getting NWN so I can't compare beyond what I've heard about it. One person that I know has had some problems with the game crashing a lot. Others have complained about some minor issues. I think overall both are good games. The mods will help DS and the bug fixes will help NWN. After that its just really a matter of which one you feel like playing at the time. |
