RE: I Like Swords....

What better than cleaving your enemy in two. If you've ever played Dungeons and Dragons you know the satisfaction of carrying a large sharpened piece of steel in your hands, besides the sword has so much history. Almost every culture that has ever been able to forge metal has come up with a kind of sword. The French came up with the sabre, the English the longsword, etc.
It's the fantasy of every small boy (and several grown ones) to wield a sword in combat. What better way to do so than digitally, so that, 1. you don't run the risk of hurting yourself, 2. you don't have to kill anything (because, like it or not, war and death suck ass), and 3. swords can be pretty freakin' heavy, but one must admire the elegance of such an item and how they have been, throughout history, works of art. The Japanese would create swords and encrust the hilt with jewels and gold, passing these family heirlooms from father to son for generations. The French created sabres in the 16th century that were not only light, sharp, and durable, but were beautiful in form and forge. Even today, swords are used as ornamentation. The U.S. Marine Corps caries swords while in dress uniform, royalty all over the world carry them at official functions, and they are still used by some for battle.
Whether you prefer a Scotish broad sword or a Japanese samurai sword, there is no doubt that the sword is probably the best weapon in history and any video game.

Oops, I cut you again. I cleaved your chest up, and spat in your eye, whoa demon demon. Whoops, there goes your HP, from my big ass holy sword, which got shoved in your chest, and you died with an "ahhh!" from it....
