Alien arrival to Earth?

I was watching a show the other day that explained how there is very likely another planet quite similiar to Earth. With that said you must assume that there is not only other life out there, but also life forms that are shockingly similiar to us. It is a huge universe after all (or so I'm told).

Furhtermore, these life forms (lets call them humans for the sake of making my point) are probably thousands or millions of years more advanced than us. So these other humans may well have mastered things we haven't yet (such as time and space travel). In addition, this show also explained how these other humans may be able to create wormholes (a way of getting to one point in space to the other point in a much faster way). Therefore, if these other humans wanted they could travel the universe searching for other life forms. (After all, that is what makes us humans, the ability to question things, wonder, and have curiosity).

So now its really not that out of the question that an alien life form can /or/ will visit Earth. What they would want with us or our planet I dont know. Maybe they don't want anything to do with us, and thus the reason for not visiting us. ANyway, just something to think about.

RE: Alien arrival to Earth?

I have no opposition to your thoughts that "Aliens" may resemble humans...after all,if we ever venture out to the stars,it`s entirely plausible that we will populate any life supporting planets we may discover...this may have happened here...possible...but is it probable...?
We`ll never know...

RE: Alien arrival to Earth?

If there are aliens out there similar to us, but more advanced, I'm sure their having a nice nuclear war as we speak lol

RE: Alien arrival to Earth?

I can categorically confirm our ships DO NOT visit your planet. As proof of this our fleet consists of a wide variety of vehicles all of which exist as physical mass, we note with some amusement that every time you earthlings give accounts of 'sightings' you omit two facts.

1) When in the atmosphere of a planet a ship may be stationary and then (in your language) accelerate to an enormous speed and dissappear, well let me just say wherever we do this we leave behind a triple sonic boom which would be heard over a radius of some 20 miles or so.

2) Should we ever 'abduct' one of your species
the most memorable part of their stay would be that upon entering our ship they would notice the smell - when confined in a small space for some years things get smelly, due to the vast distances we travel luxuries such as 'air' purification equipment is too bulky.

You may like to note our assessment of your planet is made entirely from analysis of your vast quantities of radio signals spreading out and polluting the interstellar National parks for which you will soon recieve a letter of complaint. We note also that you are begining to send 'robots' beyond your heliosphere - these will shortly be returned as 'address illegible'

You are not likely to succeed in either discovering or joining the galactic community as there are only around 1.5 million of you
(around 1 in 4000 of you) who are deserving. We require a a percentage of 98.732 before you will receive an invite. Your planet is of no direct use to us except as a constant source of entertainment.

We trust this clears the matter up once and for all.

RE: RE: Alien arrival to Earth?

Hi KX-35

If you are reading our radio signals you must be within about 80 light years of earth Is it possible for you to record Last week's Grand Prix from Hungary? I missed the first hour or so and would love to see it.

Many thanks, Mike

RE: Alien arrival to Earth?

Hmmmm

Reading between the line KC-135 does make a very serious point here, anyone ever heard a single/double/triple sonic boom as the 'ufo' darted off? - we probably will in future...

Oh and if KC-135 really is an extraterrestrial
(and I have no proof that he/she/it isn't) this is a mucky little planet inhabited by a carbon based self destructive lifeform which is distinctly poisonous to all contact and should be avoided at all costs - and the worst one is a unit called George dubya Bush do you think you could er....
