Jesus,what is common sense for you? is it believing in what seems to be true because of its conspicuity like the sun orbiting the Earth? Or like thinking that objects havier than air can't fly? Where would our civilization be if there were only 'common sensers'?! Personally I am SURE there is another reasonable forms of life in the Universe. |

And one more thing - there is always no proof for common sensers until someone 'crazy' imagines something with no proof at the moment.First imagination proof second.Anyway,time will eventually show the truth. When you are sleeping where is your proof that what is happening to you is not real? You're just too involved to doubt it,you just can't get some distance and look at it at different angle.And,for example,how would you prove that you are in love to the girl you like?Can you make her sure that you really feel what you feel and don't pretend?Some things can only be trusted and felt but not proved.Belief alongside with imagination makes this world and proof is secondary. For example,if Wright Brothers going to build their plane had told themselves 'It can't be true.No one has proved that a flight is possible.It's useless,let's better show them we are smart people as so many people can't be wrong.Better go home.'No,to my mind,it doesn't work that way. But don't get me wrong - it's just different context: told above doesn't mean we should believe anything but it makes sense to be open to all possibilities.Why reject the possibility of existing of a different reasonable life only because it's not shown on TV? Of course,there is no accepted proof that they exist but how can we be sure they don't?Anyway, statistically,there is more probability they exist than they don't.And there are evidence: films and photos and,probably,not all of them are fake - there are just too many of them.And a funny thing - once I saw a report in which they showed a short film with a UFO (too obvious image to ignore) and then just said 'Quite curious,isn't?' and went on!I was really shocked!They don't even analize such things!That object looked like a second sun and they just said 'Curious' and skipped it!So,there are evidence! People just don't want to see the fact as it seems so unreal that people just REJECT TO ACCEPT IT!They reject meeting the fact face to face and that's the problem. |

It is extremely unlikely, even absurd, to consider that life evolved on only one planet out of countless billions. As I said in my article on the subject, just because we haven´t detected any yet doesn´t mean they are not out there. In fact, because the universe is so vast, it is unlikely that they will be close neighbours so it may take some time. |
