RE: What causes the Big Bang?

There are multible universes. The one we are in has (at least) 11 dimensions (for string theory to work). Other universes have other dimensions.
One theory states that our universe started (big bang) when two or more universes collided. It explains why gravity is so weak (it leaks in from one or more of the other universes).

This is an interesting theory and explains alot.

Then again we could just be a figment of someones imagination

RE: What causes the Big Bang?

I am confused that everything we know, came from a time when there was absolutely nothing.
Matter cannot be created, nor destroyed, the only other thing comprehendable to man is God. I do believe that God and science can co-exist. I believe that God set in motion the events we are studying today.
