Hi all ive read keiths book a dozen times and have just fininshed stephen hawkings "theory of everything" and im drawn to the hot big bang model as a very good and more than likely theory. BUT what is the nothing that caused it? ive read so-many times about this nothing-ness buisness and its always left at just that,like a passing thought or something, im a little fed up when reading brilliant minded peoples books, that they never seem to explain what nothing is, stephen hawking said that we have no need to delve into what caused the big bang !! HANG ON A MINUTE yes we do, you cant explain a brilliant theory without a hint of what nothing is and how it could of started? was it just a black void of space? it cant be space though as i thought the big bang started that?, would it of been black? a build up of gases? or energy? once again i thought the bb started that? so what was it like ? any ideas ? I do'nt think it has been proven yet that nothing exists.I mean there is no such thing as a perfect vacuum.There is only such a thing as something that's less dense.Even space is full of cosmic rays and electrons not to mention photons and neutrinos and also radiation and gravity.Therefore nothing does'nt exist. Other universes have other dimensions. One theory states that our universe started (big bang) when two or more universes collided. It explains why gravity is so weak (it leaks in from one or more of the other universes). This is an interesting theory and explains alot. Then again we could just be a figment of someones imagination |

Our eyes are designed to pick up light, and when there is none, they show our brain what we call "Black". So yes, theoretical nothing would be black to the human eye. |

I mean, lots of people have talked about the Big Bang that created the whole universe, and that gases etc were the cause of that, BUT, where did the gases come from , and where ever they came from - where did THEY come from and so on and so on. I cannot comprehend that the very first nutron or what ever has ALWAYS been there- as Stephen Hawkins put's it. It must have had a beginning and I can't help but think that what ever the beginning was, SOMETHING must have created it in the first place. Call it God if you want, i don't personally believe in any religion or God type character but I do think that somehow at some point something MUST have created something in order for the nothing to have created the Big Bang that created the Universe!! I also think that mathematical equasions here on earth are not as relevent in space. I don't think you can really apply that until we are fully out there and we are still at caveman level when it come to space exloration or understanding. And Time??? - I think man created that. |

Ok, i don't konow if you guys want to hear this or do want to but your subconcious feels like it but you feel this is a junk-theory...lol...i just turned 13 and is in precalculus and definitely astronomy and physics, so i stumbled on about where the heck did the gases come from!!? Ive read books and stuff and came to a little theory...what if there was a universe where particles would've existed and the same thing happened, there was some kind of...whatever...happened and the particles were born then the universe contracted...making the universe extremely hot setting of the explosion. Then billions of years from now, after we died of pollution, our own nukes, or those aliens from independence day, the universe contracts and shabang...again. then a few billion years later life forms form. But that is just my thought which is not real because reality doesn't make sense, making it a non-real reality show for a different universe. |
