The Big Bang Theory has to be the most interesting explanation for the universe as it is today. I personally don't believe in any religion and don't believe 'God' put us here, thats just my belief. If TBBT is correct and as a result the universe is expanding, surely it will lead the universe to spread out thinly. Now if the suns wink out one by one, then the universe will eventually freeze. This can't be good! What if though the the expansion is slowed down by mutual gravitational attraction of the galaxies, this would then bring the universe to stop and then reverse. This would then bring everything back together for what would only be a very crowded universe just before there would be a Big Crunch. This also can't be good! Either way the universe will END or will it? Would it start all over again? a constant chain of big bangs followed by big crunches. How would we ever know? The previous paragraph is just some of my thoughts, i don't have any belief in any outcome or beginning of our universe just many possibilities. I generally believe our extraudinary universe is to big and mysterious to ever know the truth. |

That's it, period. Everything else is either 'supporting evidence' for the theory or an explantion of this or that. It has until very recently been thought that there may be enough matter in the universe to not only slow the expansion down but to draw it all back together into the Big Crunch. Goodbye all. Recent evidence however, suggests that the rate of expansion of the universe is in fact accelerating. All sorts of ideas have been put forward to try and explain this. Some think that gravity becomes a force that repels at distances of intergalatic proportions, for reasons unknown. Others suggest dark energy, and so on. Nobody knows! If correct, that the rate of expansion is increasing, then yes, as you say, it ends in the heat death of the universe. Goodbye all. Life's a bitch then you die! |

But in the future God(Jehovah) is going 2 do what he wanted in the first place. And no one will ever die or be sad or suffer ever again. And EVERYONE WILL BE HAPPY!!! |
