Posted By: Aubry Posted On: Mar 10, 2006 Views: 1508 | THE BIG BANG THEORY I don't believe in the big bang theory because, I believe in the Lord Jesus Christ created the earth and all the planets. In the Bible it says "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth."So if you have any comments about my belief, please reply, Thank You. God bless, Aubry |
Posted By: Keegan Posted On: Mar 10, 2006 Views: 1506 | RE: THE BIG BANG THEORY So essentially your whole argument is that some book of complete fantasies created thousands of years ago is fact? Relatively, the implications of the whole ideologies are ruined at the base. To just assume that the universe was created only 5000 years ago as this book says, and to assume that it's somehow automatically correct is completely illogical. However, at the point, the theory itself may not be correct. We're never really going to get a great idea about the formations of the universe itself, and its developement. It's just a very complicated issue; its one beyond our reach. |

I do not believe that God created the world. I do not believe that understanding how the universe evolved is beyond our understanding. I just happen to think that nothing is beyond our eventual understanding. Why should it be? I am sure others will post views that will disagree with all three of us. At the end of the day, everything is down to belief. |

Those who believe God was the Creator of the universe and that the Bible basically had it correct, include N. Copernicus, (solar system) G. Galileo, J. Kepler, F. Bacon, I. Newton (Einstein names Newton as the greatest scientist that ever lived). This was also the view of the founding fathers of the United States of America, such as G. Washington, J. Adams, J. Hancock, P. Henry, Madison, Monroe. And the handful of Deists including B. Franklin and T. Jefferson believed in a Creator who "endowed" us with "inalienable rights . . . " (We are endowed by our Creator... ) Just visiting this site to find the source of the man who wrote that big bang should have produced all of our planets and their moons spinning in the same direction and a second man who wrote that the big bang would not produce the planets in their orbits for a book that is to soon be published. May God bless you in all that you do for Him, Bro. J.R. Hughes, B.A. Michigan State University Juris Doctor: Wayne State University Law School |
