Did you ever hear the one about the monkey's with typewriter's and infinite time writing the complete works of Shakespeare? Thats like this...I'm sure someone will come up with a theory that will explain everything...how the universe came into being etc...It's just we havn't given it enough time yet... |
Posted By: Taylor Posted On: Dec 27, 2007 Views: 752 | RE: no-one knows well, i'd honestly say that God made the Big Bang, thus the universe, as the Big Bang has to be guided to make what we have today - but the most common argument is "what created God?" well.. this doesn't take much thinking - for something to make time, you need something from without time, thus, God - the classic view of God is that he's un-bound by time and thus is infinite, infinity has no beginning and no end, thus, there was no beginning and that's purely scientific. |
Posted By: Keith Mayes Posted On: Dec 28, 2007 Views: 750 | RE: no-one knows In that case it can be equally argued that the universe was made outside of time and is infinite. If it can be applied to God it can be applied to the universe, it's the same argument. It's not good enough to say that God is special, so is the universe. If God can create Himself so can the universe, what's the problem with that view? Just remove God from the equation, He isn't required. |
