electrons

hi, i am trying to get a grip on how the universe came into being and i am having one big issue i can't seem to get past. where did the electrons, photons, etc. come from that initiated the big bang. i think i kind of understand how the process worked once things got going, but i haven't been able to find an explanation on where that beginning material came from. it is seeming to me that either we have to believe that matter has always existed, or that there is a creator. any insight you care to share would be greatly appreciated. thanks, pat

RE: electrons

Electrons, and all other particles, formed out of the radiation of the Big Bang as it expanded and cooled.
It may be more pertinent to ask where the Big Bang came from because we understand what happened after it started.

RE: electrons

so what is your theory on where the first material came from? do you agree that either the matter has always been or that there is a creator? thanks for your reply. pat

RE: electrons

I don't know and don't think the question has any real value. Both matter and the Creator would need be created.
There is no solution.

RE: electrons

the value i seek is truth and logic. i am trying to find evidence that there is not a creator. (my definition of creator is that s/he has always been, thus was not created by something). from what i have found elsewhere and from your last message, it is not known how something can be created from nothing. if you come across any compelling evidence that can explain it, i would appreciate the info. thank you for your help. pj

RE: electrons

The question you ask is impossible to answer.
My view is that if it is okay to say that the creator has always existed and therefore did not require to be created then the same principle can be applied to the universe.
Why not?

RE: electrons

Hi Patrick, I've been on this track for sometime. The trouble is the more you enquire based upon "logic" the less evidence there is for a creator - or at least a creator in the sense that we may traditionally think of him/it. With everything that is and has gone on in the universe(s) and considering the context of our existance, that the creator is responsible for "everything" etc - how is he/it going to take any form that we and every other life form can relate to? Unless there is perhaps a god-appreciating component somewhere in our make-up that gives us the buzz we crave if we are able to tap into it. Afterall, everyone has their own reality - I'm thankfully still working on mine. S
