Posted By: Help Posted On: Nov 27, 2006 Views: 1204 | Unsure about everything Keith tell me we are not all alone. I don't mean alone from humans, but in a greater sense. Are we really just living in a temporary time where after we die we just unconciously wait? And wait...and wait. AHH The thought of this inability to be unaware! is crazy to think about. I get overwhemled with a sense of panic everytime I think about this "truth". Keith is it true? |

Posted By: Usure Posted On: Jan 5, 2007 Views: 1176 | RE: Unsure about everything I guess you're right. Maybe it's just being alive and thinking about it that is the worst part about it. Thanks |
Posted By: Keith Mayes Posted On: Jan 7, 2007 Views: 1171 | RE: Unsure about everything I like to think, totally without any evidence to support it, that when we die we continue to exist in another form. It would make everything so bloody pointless if we don't. |
Posted By: Routt Posted On: Mar 7, 2007 Views: 1147 | RE: Unsure about everything It's good for me to know that we are all part of the universe. That we all came from the same cosmic event. That we are all one. So, really, I don't think I can ever truly die. My body will be destroyed, I will lose my sentience and my consciousness and my perception, but I will never die--because I, just like you, am the universe. I will just continue to exist in another form, without the burden of sentience. I know most people don't think that way. I don't know if that comforts anyone. But it comforts me. There is nothing to fear in death. |
Posted By: Red Dog Posted On: Dec 12, 2008 Views: 787 | RE: Unsure about everything "Ignorance is Bliss", or as the Russians are fond of saying..."The less you know the better you sleep". But for some odd reason many of us are compelled to `seek and find' answers to lifes questions. We love to question, to look into that abyss of knowledge in hopes of glimpsing something of value. Unfortunately, like John Nash, we can fall in, while seeking answers. It pays to be tied off with something meaningful to you. |
