A whole world by-chance?!

'Natural forces? I very much doubt it, the patterns are too geometric for that.'-
Keith's comment on crop circles.
I can say the same about the origin of the human.
It's likely that evolution is controlled and made by some reasonable forces:
of course, not by chance - I rule it out.
How can it be that a reasonable life developed by chance? The theory of evolution will be seriuosly revised sometime. There must be a reasonable force behind the 'by-chance'.

RE: A whole world by-chance?!

You are entitled to your opinion, but the world has moved on from that earlier belief. As science has progressed it has found again and again that God was not responsible for what was happening in the world.
If you believe that the theory of evolution is wrong and that everything is created by design, then how do you explain...
1) Why design cancer, smallpox and other horrible diseases, not very nice of God is it?
2) If we were designed to be the way we are then why make such crap designs? why not make us stronger, live longer, be healthier?
3) Why design a system that introduces built in flaws, such as blindness, deafness, missing limbs etc? Why do that?
4) Why design the human body in such a way that after a few days without water it dies? Poor design isnĀ“t it when so much of the planet suffers severe droughts.

I could go on, but you get my point.

RE: A whole world by-chance?!

I wrote about it in my article 'Why pain in the world' (Maxim Dvoytsin in your 'Is infinity real').
Pain is necessary. God wants us to be Gods but not stupid sheep though happy. It takes care of us like father takes care of his son.
Would you like to be a God with utter wisdom or just a happy insensible child? The root of true
happiness is sadness,they are interwined.
Would you be what you are without pain?
I see a lot of ignorant people who are only interested in sex and money, they don't care
about meaning of their lives and things like science? So,would I like to be happy if the cost is ignorance?
My answer is - No. Would I like to be happy if
the cost is pain that can make me understand
what I feel,what I am? The answer - Yes.
I suppose, happiness can be different. It can be based on ignorance and it can be based on wisdom.
Which one would you choose?

RE: A whole world by-chance?!

We can never understand why reality is what it is and why the natural forces are what they are.We can only describe them. But the reality in its very depth, the very root of it we can't understand - it's a mystery for intellect forever as it can only be felt, perceived and lived. And this very mystery is what they call God.
I don't mean any particular religion -
I mean the mystery of life that we can only describe but not ever understand by itellect.

RE: A whole world by-chance?!

You talk of pain as being necessary to understanding life.
If it were not for my medication and treatment my pain would be so bad I would rather die than live with it.
You clearly have no idea how unbelievably bad pain can get, it can become all consuming agony that has you begging to die.
I know we have to have pain, it is unavoidable, but you are too flippant about it, you have never felt what it can really do.

RE: A whole world by-chance?!

I really shouldn't have written that. When I was writing the post I didn't know your state but once I read about it I imagined you reading that and I felt sick.I have felt pain,Keith, though it's been much time since that period of my life: actually,I could have been 'there' for a few years by now but life/destiny/random decided it was not the time and so I'm still alive.
It happens that we often tend to forget our pain,we put it away pretending it's never happened but our pain doesn't forget us.
I wrote that post because I already didn't suffer but when I got to know about you it came back blowing me from the past and I really felt uneasy. This world is so hard to understand but
I feel I should because it hurts when I think
the human and the world may be but a random and that there's nothing behind.
Probably, there's really no God but it hurts to think so.Nietzsche told to himself 'God is dead'
May be,that's why he became insane and
I understand it.If there is no God there is nothing but 'dust to dust' in the world and such attitude can make insane.

RE: A whole world by-chance?!

Hi Maxim, There is no need to feel bad, you were not to know and your remarks were part of a good argument.
I do not go as far as to say there is no God, only that if there is He does not have any influence on our lives, whatever happens, happens, and is not His doing.
What happens after death? We can only speculate, but deep down, for some reason, we all think there is more.

RE: A whole world by-chance?!

Statements like 'I rule it out' are a complete waste of everyones time.

If you are not backing up your comments by example or evidence then they are just words to suit your agenda, an agenda which I presume has been pushed onto you from an early age.

RE: RE: A whole world by-chance?!

When Kent 4 said "I rule it out" he is just expressing his opinion, same as you are when you say it's a complete waste of time. His opinion is as valid as yours is, or anyone else's for that matter.
When you say....
"an agenda which I presume has been pushed onto you from an early age."
You should never presume anything, you should ascertain. You are implying that he does not have a mind of his own and you have absolutely no right to express such an unfounded opinion, unless of course you are backing it up by example or evidence, which you clearly are not.
