Black Holes and leakage

On your Black Hole page you ask for suggestions for how a singularity became a universe if nothing can escape a Black Hole.

But some energy can escape, according to Hawking.

extract: Hawking also described how he discovered that particles could slowly leak out of black holes and release energy. A miniature black hole of the mass of a mountain could generate enough power to supply the world’s energy needs. However, the energy would be difficult to harness as the power could not be maintained in a power station. It would drop through the floor and end up at the center of the Earth.

RE: RE: Black Holes and leakage

Yes, Hawking does explain his theory that black holes slowly evaporate but I was thinking in terms of the Big Bang that created the universe rather than a little trickle.
Nonetheless, you have raised an interesting point that will no doubt provide many more years of research.
