I knew from an early age I was different and thought myself a girl hater. I was to intiminated, and when a pedphile wanted sex ( I was age 12 to 14) I agreed as this was all there was. I started experiencing feelings for other boys when I was 8 or 9 and had my first experience when I was 12. As for what age....I was not ready at 12. A few months before I talked Mark into having sex, my father died. But, I had to move on, and I knew I had to see Mark. How about 14? Probably better. I know there are boys I work with now who are ready to take on a relationship. I mean, if they can date girls, why can't they date another guy (or a man). Sixteen is a good age. But I don't want to restrict the 14 year olds. How is that for being wishy washy. All things being considered, I was ready at 14; I already was having sex with other boys. When I was 27, I had sex with a 14 year old. He was ready, too. Thanks. But just be careful and take care of that boy. |

From what I've seen, the age for male sex should probably be lowered world-wide to 15, then certain cultures can lower even more if they want. I'd also like to see the Voting age everywhere lowered to 15 so the kids can say for themselves what age they think is right or what protections they want (or do not want). Some boys are ready for sex at age 11 or so, and some are experimenting even earlier! When I was 13-14 and "baby" sitting, I'd be surprised by 7-10 year olds wanting sex with me! |

I've known boys as young as 9 that wanted to experience gay sex -- at least fondling, touching, maybe not more, and then I've known boys in their upper teens that weren't ready to admit their gay feelings. Also, I've known 14 or 15-year-olds that LOOK 18 or 19 and other 14-15-year-olds that still look like they're 12. So kids mature at different rates and what's right for one may not be right for another. Still, the only real protection we should need is that "No MEANS no." Punish those who force non-consentual sex, but don't punish just because you THINK a boy is "too young," or his partner "too old." Maybe what we need is to say "you can partner with boys from half your age to twice your age if you are 8 to 14. If you are 15 or older, there is no upper limit." Does that sound reasonable? |
