I don't know how - she could just be your average destroy-the-world-bad-guy (gal), but some kind of possession, or mutation, would be interesting. That introduces moral complications. He should love her, but he should have to kill her. It would be, uh, pacy and packed with intrigue... I like unhappy endings btw... (NB: I've never actually played a Zelda all the way through. I don't know if this suggestion would be immutable in the Zelda-world or not. If, for instance, the existence of the world relies on her being saved, then I guess it couldn't be done... then again, that might make it all the more interesting...) Certainly, it would be a surprising twist. |

Howsabout she finally comes out of the closet and announced to the world that she's with Ganon the whole time, trying to find a way to kill Link because he's such an annoying Elf-stalker bastard. That also would explain whhy he never killed her, if she's funding him and supplying all the magic power. |
