RE: THE CAJUN MAN

They didn't kill off Beast. And he can charge anything he wants with kinetic energy. Everything has energy, usually potential, he simiply changes it to the kind he needs. I've seen he charge some guy's head up. Good thing the explosion was under water :p. I like Gamibit too. He and the blue guys are my favoite. I just love his and Nightcrawler's accents. Gets me everytime. :)
See ya.

RE: THE CAJUN MAN

I feel that Gambit should be at least in the second film because he was an important member to the X-Men. He didn't just throw cards either...he could touch anything and send a kinetic electrical charge through it and the object would explode upon impact. I feel that would be sweet to see in a movie. Plus, as some of you know, Gambit played the love interest of Rogue. They both had a relationship together and he needs to be in the movie. Plus, not to get off subject, I feel the X-Men need to require their original powers just like in the cartoons and comic books. But other than that...Gambit is awesome...and so is Rogue!

RE: THE CAJUN MAN

Yeah, it would be nice to see him. But I don't think it's going to happen. I was in Wal-mart just yesterday morning, and I found a book based on the X-Men 2 movie. I didn't buy it, cause I didn't want the whole movie ruined before my eyes, but I did read the back and the first three chapters. I suppose these are spoilers, so beforwarned before reading the next part!

On the back, it said that Nightcrawler had been basically brainwashed to try and kill the president, Jean Gray couldn't control her powers as well, an unknow enity was behind it all, and children are being kidnapped from their beds at the X-Mason for use in horrible experiments. And that's just the back!
In the frist chapter, it's told from Nightcrawler's point of view. He's dressed like a trouist, to get into the White House. He doesn't know for sure why he's there or what he's doing, but he knows he's here to do something. Then a secret agent stops him and asks if he's lost. When he reveals his face to the man, of course all hell breaks loose. Everyone knows Nightcrawler looks like a demon. Well, then it switchs to a secret agent's point of veiw in the president's office, trying to get him out of their. But, all the exits are blocked and unsafe because they don't know how many eneimes are attacking, more and more just seem to be appearing at once! Well, then with a burst of smoke and brimstone, a door is broken open and a man being carried by Nightcrawler's tail is thrown into some of the agents trying to save the president. Nightcrawler leaps up onto the celing, and as the agents start shooting at him, and missing, he zooms around the room knocking most of the agents out. Then it changes back to Nightcrawler's point of view, the presdent under him where he conored him on the desk, knife flipped up into his hand from his boot by his tail. It mentions that Nightcrawler had tied a ribbon to the knife but couldn't rember why. As he raises the knife, he's shot in the shoulder. The pain brings him to his senses and he relizes he was just about to kill the president. He jabs the knife into the desk beside the presdent and takes off out of the Oval Office. On the ribbon (as far as I can rember) are the words:
MUTANT FREEDOM NOW
Then it goes to chapter 2. Storm is showing the childern from the X-Mansion around a musemum. To cut things short, they come across a really bad and horrifing display of mutants. It's in a desplay about human evolution, and the last branch off offers pictures of horrorable pictures of deformed mutants, along with the words "HOMO _____?" beneath it, which makes all the children and Storm upset and confused since they are mutants and what this display shows is only the bad side. Storm takes her charges and heads to Charles. Then it cuts to Jean's point of view. She's having fun taking to the children and listening to their thoughts. Then other people just showing up, and she can't block their voices. She closes her eyes, and the glass behind her starts to shake and rattle. Scott comes up and askes her what's wrong. The glass and the voices cease in her head. She smiles and says that she just has a headache, whick of course Scott doesn't believe. He mentions that she hasn't been herself lately and starts to talk about how when she has nightmares the whole bedroom shakes. But then Storm comes in and, looking very upset, mentions that she thinks they should go. Storm counts her kids, and realizes she's missing some. She becomse really upset at this, and counts the kids again, but still comes up with the wrong number. Jean concentres and says "We need to contact Charles. Now" or something like that and they all high tail it off. Then it cuts to Pryo's point of view. He's ****ing off an older guy and his buddy by flicking a lighter on and off and saying he doens't have a light for the older kid. Rogue and Bobby (aka Iceman) are sitting with him at the food court. They tell him to stop and he says he couldn't live his life knowing that he helped this guy to a slow death, and points out that it's a no smoking area. The older guy snatches the lighter and lights his cigertee anyway, and ticks Pyro off. So Pyro lights the kid on fire. Iceman saves him, of course, but by then everyone in the food court has frozen, staring at them. Charles and the others come over and tell them it's time to go, I'll cut this short cause I have to go soon. The next chapter is in the president's office again. Some guy, can't rember his name, wants the president to approve a project for him. The pres. invites Sentor Kelly (The guy who hated mutants and died in the first one, but the shapechanger (I can't rember her name) has kept up the disgues. Now he has changed his mind about mutants and is an advisor to the president.) The project is a search warrent on the X-Maison. He gets the president's approval by showing him pictures of the School, with the jet by the basket ball court. Kelly aka the shapchanging mutant, says that it's a school and asks where the guy got the info on it, since he tells everyone it's a training facility for mutants. He says that he got the info from a mutant involved with the Liberty Island incendent.
Kelly asks, shocked, if it was Erik (aka Magneto) and he says yes. Turns out Magneto in being kept in a plastic prison, which to me is a little comical, that this guy helped build. The guy leaves and Kelly runs after him and asks if he can see Magneto. The guy and him have a little spat about this being a war (between mutants and humans) and Kelly's eyes flash yellow as he walks away.
The last part of the chapter is from Magentos point of veiw. He's reading a book in the prison in front of a table there, I won't provide any further details about the place, since there isn't many anyway. But a big burly guard, who Magneto knows all to well comes in. He hears the camars turn off, and knows what's going to happen next. He mentions that the bad ones always turn off the camareas when they didn't want any evidence of their acts. His body tenses up with fear as he and the guy exchange banter. Magneto asks the guy how long he's going to keep doing this, and the guys asks how long Magneto's going to be here. Magneto says forever. Then the guy from the president's office comes in and sits down in front of Magneto. He pulls out a vial of yellow liquid, and Magneto knows what's going to happen next. He doesn't want that stuff near him, and tries to get away. But, the big burly gaurd holds him down and agains his protests, they drip a few drops on the back of Magneto's neck. Magneto tries to fight it, but a strange calm falls over him and he slowly sits back up. The guys ends the chapter by says "Now Erik, tell me more about Xavior's school. Especially about ceibrow" (I know that's not what Professor X's machine is called, or how it's spelled, but I don't have time to spell check this)

Ending: I don't think Gambit's in this, but Wolvey comes back. Rogue and Bobby are romactically involved, or at least as much as they can be, and Bobby tells Wolvey this. The end.
