Science and Religion of Self

This essay is about the opposition of science and religion, matter and spirit. In my opinion, the root of this problem has two origins: freedom and death.
I'll begin with freedom. We come in this world with no any specific purpose given in advance. Our existance gives no exact meaning to our lives.Life is like an unknown object given to us.This object is like a puzzle.
We don't know what to do with it and if it has a solvation, and we don't know if it's possible for us to solve it.And if we can do it then what does it give to us?What does it result in for us?
Some people think that there is an answer and the solvation is provided by its creator. They claim to be absolutely aware of the creator's plan. They say they have have gotten instructions from the designer of the
brain-twister.Hence,they introduce a recipe by
following which it can be puzzled out and this is religion. The instructions have form of commandments, gospels and malicious revelations as a protection for themselves.
There are people that consider the object not a puzzle at all but only a piece of matter which is the result of evolution which is,in its turn, the result of
microwave particles interaction. These people are evolutionists and their theories' basis is materialism.
And there are people who claim that the life-thing is nothing but an illusion. They say that it is us who are the puzzle which has to be solved.Know yourself and you'll know everything. These people are existantialists.
What does it mean?It means that there are a lot of opinions about the same thing which,in its turn, means
that there is no accepted truth. If there are many hypothesises there is no theory which is the only reliable information. Therefore,we do not know what is life and what it is for.It still remains a mystery.
We seem to be free. This freedom is our blessing and this very freedom is our curse. It is us who should give meaning to our existance and the absence of meaning hurts. If there is no meaning then who are we? Fortuity.Something accidental. And it does hurt! And that is the origin of the denand for God and, therefore, religion.Well, demand makes supply.
Hence,it seems life is meaningless. The main reason of the need for God is not the need for meaning in life. The need for making life meaningful is a secondary reason.
I'm asking myself a question now: What makes us search for the existance purpose? My answer is: its finality. The origin of the need for God,the search for meaning and the origin of thousands of confrontations and the one of what our world has become now is death.
In my opinion, deathless life would be lifeless and, even more, meaningless.Death is the end of the pain and suffering no one of us can avoid along his/her lifetime. Now we are doomed to die but, otherwise,we would be doomed to live and, therefore, suffer forever.
Pain with no end.Death is the origin of the fear of uncertainty and the unknown, and death itself is the greatest mystery and the origin of eternal struggle and this altogether is the origin and basement of religion. Thus, the basis of any religion is: the fear of suspense, mystery and struggle.Death and religion
are interwined.
Life is the basis of materialism and death is the one of religion and spirit and, paradoxally, eternal life.
Any birth of something new,be that an idea or a theory,is the result of a battle between two opposites. In our case, these opposites are science and religion. Both of them are just halves - two ways to describe the reality. They are just hypothesises the purpose of which is to entirely understand everything.
I'm convinced that onced both science and religion will become a united universal description of reality.
I do not believe that we can understand the core of reality by intellect.
Reality gives itself to us directly only by means of our feelings and perceptions: thus, only feelings and perceptions can be regarded as reality itself. The so-called objective world is only the cause of the perceptions and its objects and phenomena just trigger off the actual reality in our minds. Thus,it is us what reality is and the objective world is actually subjective.
Keith Mayes wrote that reality is what we perceive. In my understanding the only actual reality is the one
who perceives,i.e. the perceiver's consciousness in which there is the process of perception realised. We can't be 100% sure about actuality of the world but we can be 100% sure about actuality of perception of which one's consciousness is the medium. Thus, only the subject is the source of actual reality. That is why there are the phenomena of the microworld (the double-split experiment). The outside world exists actually inside our consciousness as it is generated entirely by one's mind. Thus, for example,I am neither only subject nor only object but I embody both of them.I'd say that I am object-subject.
We observe that nature follows the principle of minimizing effort, that is using as little energy as possible. So,why actually create a whole world when it takes much less energy just to simulate the world?
I'd name it 'actual reality illusion'.When I say that the world is inside I take into account that my body is also a part of the world and, therefore,I mean that the body is also simulated in my mind and it's entirely a part of perception in which I have the simulated world.
Thus, there is no reason to divide the reality into matter and spirit while it's the same substance with gradation which makes illusion of existing two different states of something undivided.
My conclusion is that no science and religion can give us the truth that is inside of our self. Both science and religion apply to only objects while the truth is the subject. We should ask our Selves what is the thing knowing which one knows all things?
it is our Self.
Nosce Teipsum,PS:
if reality is what we perceive then what do we perceive when we aren't looking at an object?
We perceive nothing. Thus,at this moment of perception there is no reality to see (perceive).Reality is actually the perception itself. We can always prove the perception to ourselves but one can never prove that what s/he perceived a moment before s/he closed the eyes still continues to exist independently. We can only believe that it doesbut actually at the moment of non-perceiving there is no other reality to us but the one we have in ourselves in advance - the reality of probabilities that is like a black screen on which there's nothing but can appear anything any moment and everything that is needed for a whole world to appear on is the light of our consciousness.
