My first took 12 weeks to heal, partially because I did not give it long enough before returning to running. How long does the average stress fracture take to heal and how do you know when it is safe to begin running without having to get another bone scan? |
| Posted By: Jennifer Posted On: Mar 30, 2004 Views: 1321 | RE: stress fractures I had gotten calcaneal stress fractures in both of my heels when I was in bootcamp, for 3 months I was in treatment for the stress fractures, but then I went directly back to training It never rehealed and now is bothering me agoin with any weight bearing things, so in actuallity I'm unaware if a sress fracture ever deos fully heal. |
