Easy reading without a lot of complicated words and difficult plots to distract this reader from the basic story. Every page entertaining with no dry spots or overly descriptive details. A great story that kept my complete attention from start to finish, once started I couldn't put it down. Born in the Bronx in 1942 and grew up there until 1956, with both friends and family from Brooklyn I could relate to the surroundings and atmosphere from where this story takes place. This was the first book I've read by Paul Auster and plan to pick up a copy of Oracle Night and others at the bookstore this weekend. I'll be keeping an eye out for his next novel. Thanks Paul. |
