Posted By: Renee Posted On: Aug 20, 2002 Views: 692 | Harry at second! Prince Harry is by far my most favorite member of the royal family! He's more accessible than William and I like that he admitted to his mistakes and can get over it. I ADORE HARRY! He's a cutie too. |
Posted By: zabs Posted On: Aug 25, 2002 Views: 687 | RE: Harry at second! I so agree. Now only if he could maryr whom ever he pleased. In a way think of it this way. He has pressure but not as much as wills. And you are so right about owning up to you mistakes. Horray for HRH HARRY Zabs i wish i was british sometimes |
Posted By: Renee Posted On: Sep 9, 2002 Views: 674 | RE: RE: Harry at second! Hell yeah! But I do actually think Harry CAN marry whomever he pleases..it's only Will who's got to be careful. |
Posted By: Hannah Posted On: Sep 14, 2002 Views: 667 | RE: Harry at second! He is soooooooo gorgeous and he way deserves a bit more credit. Everyone here in britain loves will but harry is so much better. I like the way he tries stuff like normal people his age, but wills is just stuck up and snooty. I think Harry also has to marry someone church of england though, which is a bit ****ty for me cos i'm catholic. P.S. Here's how you can contact him: HRH Prince Harry St. James Palace London SW1A 1BS Great Britain OR HRH Prince Harry Eton Windsor Berkshire SL4 6DW Great Britain Don't You just love him to bits! |
Posted By: Renee Posted On: Sep 27, 2002 Views: 660 | RE: Harry at second! hey, thanks for the address! Although I really don't think he'll ever reply.... I DO LOVE HIM TO PIECES! |
Posted By: Julie Posted On: Nov 8, 2002 Views: 633 | RE: Harry at second! FYI, Harry can marry whomever he wishes as long as she's not Catholic. The only provision is that he has to have the Queen's consent if he is yet under the age of 25. On the other hand, if he went and married some exotic Princess of a polytheistic religion from an unknown African tribe, there might be some serious problems with the Cabinet. It's really deeper than just the written code. Think of the Abdication Crisis of 1936. By the way, Harry can't marry a divorced woman by tradition, and by the laws of the Anglican Church. (Prince Charles can't marry a divorcee either--and Camilla is divorced. Go figure). |

Posted By: Loz Posted On: Dec 3, 2002 Views: 623 | RE: Harry at second! Wow! I am so glad I found this because I thought I was the only Harry lover. Everyone I know thinks hes ugly, they obviously don't have much taste. He's so great and I hope I get to meet him one day. I don't know much about the marriage thing, but I hope he doesn't have anything against Australians or I am in trouble. |

Posted By: Lana Posted On: Jan 1, 2003 Views: 616 | RE: Harry at second! Well, that's my bad luck. I'm catholic! If, by some incredible turn of events (yes, I know this won't happen, but just the same) Harry or Wills wanted to marry a Catholic girl from California who has a Polish mother and a dad from Louisiana, what would happen? Would Wills have to give up the throne? Like Queen Elizabeth's brother-in-law had to when he married an American divorcee? Oh, and do you think Wills or Harry would be willing to marry someone quite a bit younger than they are? I'm 14. always~Lana |
Posted By: Lana Posted On: Jan 12, 2003 Views: 605 | RE: Harry at second! Oops! I made a mistake in my previous comment...sorry, everybody. When I was talking about whether Wills would have to abdicate the throne or not if he wished to marry a catholic, I then said "like Queen Elizabeth's brother-in-law did when he married an American divorcee". But that's where the error is...it was actually H.M.Queen Elizabeth's uncle that abdicated the throne, not her brother-in-law! Sorry, I just wasn't thinking. ~Lana~ |
Posted By: Natalie Berry Posted On: Jun 23, 2003 Views: 592 | RE: Harry at second! I was just reading everyone's comments when one started to bug me. Harry can not marry any girl he pleases even if she's from the church of England. She cannot be a commoner like you people, but she has to be a lady or her father a lord and they have to be rich. So sorry all those girls out there who think they had a chance, but you don't!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also, that 'Lana' girl's statment is quite hilarious. Yes, its nice to wish everyone "Happy New Years," but who in their right mind is on the computer on new years. She musn't have a social life that's for sure. Everyone should be out partying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YEAH. |
Posted By: Julie Posted On: Jun 24, 2003 Views: 589 | RE: Harry at second! Actually, Natalie, recently it has become much more common for people of the nobility to marry a commoner than in previous centuries. The most obvious example that comes to mind is Sopie Rhys-Jones, now Prince Edward's wife and the Countess of Wessex. In fact, it may be that a marriage with a commoner, provided that she is a good and respectable person, would be a very good thing for Royal public relations. A fairy tale marriage to a real lady like Princess Di is of course a popular event, but the general consensus is that the common people have become increasingly cynical about family life among the nobility--and the most notable marriage failures in the royal family have all occurred in true blue-blooded couples, sans commoners. It is also interesting to note that Prince Phillip was technically a commoner on his wedding day. He had previously renounced his remote claims to the Greek throne, having grown up mainly in England. King George VI gave him the title of Duke of Edinburgh on the morning of his marriage to the then Princess Elizabeth, but until then, after he became a British citizen, he was simply Phillip Mountbatten. You are, however, right on one account: most girls who have a crush on William or Harry haven't got a chance. Whoever the princes marry will have to be someone quite special on her own merit, whether she has a fancy title, impressive fortune, or not. Goodness knows that the Windsors don't need money, and a title is not necessary at all. |
Posted By: Nat Berry Posted On: Jun 26, 2003 Views: 585 | RE: Harry at second! Julie, You seem to know everything about the royal family. It seems that you are not just interested in Harry, but his entire family as well. You sound seriously obsessed with the royal family. I'm not saying i'm not, but i only love Harry not the others as well. Anyway happy dreaming. Nat xoxox |
Posted By: Lana Posted On: Jul 3, 2003 Views: 582 | RE: Harry at second! Hey everyone, In reply to Natalie's comment, personally, I think it's impressive for someone to be well-informed about various topics, but then maybe that's just me. Anyway, it's July now, so Happy 4th of July, or almost. Oops, I shouldn't have said that, should I have? Poor Natalie. But don't worry, I did party of New Year's, but I have enough of a social life that I regularly have to check my e-mail, or they would pile up, you know? Anyway, I'd better run, but catch you guys later. ~Lana P.S. Julie, I completely agree with you about the whole commoner topic. Take Fergie for example. Of course all of the girls out here don't have a chance, but as long as they're not obsessive, it doesn't hurt to have some fantasies. :) |
