The funny thing is, (I'm American so this is an outsider's POV) it seems like everyone kind of ignores her when nothing special is happening, or care very much, and then when something like the Jubilee comes, they are all having a grand time. I don't really understand it. |

I have been doing a study on the British monarchy for about a year now, and it's interesting to read polls like this in order to get real opinions. Regarding British government, however, I would urge you to further explore the role,(and work), of the monarch vs. that of the Prime Minister. I'll try to explain this more lucidly in a later message. |
