RE: Will's Mrs!!!!

So Jasse, where in Britain do you live? Anywhere near Scotland? If so, you MUST come visit me. I'd love to hear all about your charming tea parties with the late Queen Mum, bless her soul.
Best Wishes,
Margaret DeWinter

Hey Margaret, kindly cut out the joking about the Queen Mum. No offense, but don't offend.

Oh, and by the way ladies, the Prince is a man, not a teddy bear. Some of you are acting like 3 year-olds in a candy store.

RE: Will's Mrs!!!!

I'm extremely sorry if I offended you, Laura, or anybody else, but by referring to Jasse's teas with the "Queen Mum, bless her soul," I assure you I wasn't joking. I have to admit, however, that it's a tiny bit hurtful when people think I'm joking when in fact I rarely do so. I thought very highly of the late Queen Mum, and when I say "bless her soul," I don't mean it in any offensive way to the Queen Mum or anyone else. Here in Scotland (or at least among my peers) when you say 'bless his/her soul' (when referring to one who has passed away), it isn't meant unkindly. I'm not sure where you are from (and please be aware I mean this nicely), but here at home, when we add, "bless his/her soul", we meant it sincerely. I guess I ought to have considered that my actually serious comment might be interpreted as banter elsewhere. Once again, I apologize for the misunderstanding which I no doubt instigated.
P.S. You have an extremely good knowledge of sentence structure (in reference to the comment you recently posted under another topic). How old are you? If you'd rather not tell me, that's fine.
Always,
Margaret

RE: RE: Will's Mrs!!!!

I just wanted to correct a typo in my last reply: when I wrote 'meant' (near the end, I think) I meant to write 'mean'. Thank you for understanding, everyone.

RE: Will's Mrs!!!!

No offense meant Laura, but you sound like a real bitch. Who cares if some of us are acting like 'three year olds in a candy store'? Okay, so Wills IS a person. I totally agree. But I think most of us here are teenagers, and teenagers tend to be a little silly sometimes over celebrities, and even though it may be childish, most of them will grow up at some point. So in other words, I think it's okay for girls to be like that sometimes. But if you're proud to sound like a forty-year-old woman, then hey, that's your business. And 'Margaret' seems to have a point. She wasn't being 'disrespectful' to the Queen Mum. I think she sounded serious, and personally, I think you owe her an apology. Later, people.

RE: Will's Mrs!!!!

I don't wish to offend you,(Jen), but you are way out of line to be referring to someone you never met as a 'bitch'. It would be extremely rude even if you did know Laura. Personally, I think YOU owe her an apology. The comments we are supposed to be posting here should apply to the British monarchy, not to insulting others. If you get so disturbed over what people have to say here, maybe it would be wiser not to read or post any comments. On another note, your comment about some ladies acting like "three year olds in a candy store" (you were quoting Laura) did apply to Prince William, so perhaps it would have been better if you had just posted that portion of your comment. To be honest with you, I somewhat agree with you there, but that's something I'll have to respond to another time. This comment is already going to take up a great deal of room (pardon me, everyone). Until next time, then.
